Ms. Hawa

Hawa  has over 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in the HealthCare industry and is currently is the CEO of Cherish Home Health Care. Hawa has had a passion to take care of and help the senior living community from early on in her career. She started in senior living services, working with elderly adults as a lead supervisor and Medication Technician at a local Assisted Living facility for over seven years. As a Surgical Technologist, Hawa assisted surgeons, nurses and other technicians in the operating room to maintain sterile filed and high quality of care and the patient’s safety. She has direct patient care experience involving assessment, planning of care, implementing and evaluating patients, and collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, physical therapists and social workers.  Hawa has an Associate Degree in Science and is certified as a Surgical Technologist. In addition, she is certified from the American School of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Assistant certification and licensed in CPR. When she’s not in the office or in meetings, she enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and touring new places and spending time with her family. Hawa’s inspiration to start Cherish Home Health Care came from caring her grandfather. Hawa volunteers at her local community senior living center. Hawa lives in Fairfax, VA with her husband and three children.
